For those accustomed to the wit and philosophy of Mr Tony Brading I must inform you that this site has been taken over by someone younger and with more hair.  The site is roughly about Nongkhai and specifically about the new life me and my family are making here. It will contain snippets of our lives and in time the lives of others that inhabit this quiet corner of Thailand . Many have already asked the question  " Where is Nongkhai ?" so for your benefit I have attached this lovely map to guide you . I will try to be informative and write in such a way that it may be of interest to those already here and to those who may never have the pleasure. If the internet is the new window on the world then this is the worlds window on me. 

I will endeavour to be factual and entertaining in the hope that I will receive a wider audience than my Mum but promise that in the event nothing exciting happens , I will make up something good.
